Web Africas hosting provision sucks.

I have had enough. I have been battling for weeks. I have been hosting with Web Africa for a few years, First there was my windows account, which I decided to switch to Linux because its supposed to be better. With Web Africa linux is a balls up.

Update: They seem to care, I have been assured that problems will be resolved and I have been credited for July. Here’s hoping.

Too many errors, too much crap that doesn’t work. I am looking for alternative hosting. Hosting suppliers contact me. I need LAMP, I need a control panel, I need unlimited domains, I need control of my services and I need damned good service.

Enough is enough. Get the fucking services sorted. The support sucks donkey sweat. The linux servers suck harder than a $10 hooker. Control5 is a fucking abortion.

Every time I want to add a domain, I have to manually contact support to fix ballsups on firewalls and more. I am starting to seriously consider moving my business elsewhere. Further to that I intend letting the public know that your services are shite.

This morning my domain http://nelspruitweddingphotographer is a ballsup. Internal server errors every time I attempt to do changes online. I have wasted more than an hour making changes to my word press themes working online only to have my updates go intro a fucking black hole.

You are hereby notified that should I make changes to my domains webtech or any that are currently aliased to guymclaren.com and I need to submit tickets to fix what should be working I will sue for any time I spend not being productive because your services are faulty.

Hi Guy

Please reply to this mail with more information as to how I can replicate this error or my side, attaching any log in details I will need to do this. I will need to know what exactly happens in order that I am better able to assist you.

http://nelspruitweddingphotographer.co.za/wp-admin/ no login needed it falls down before any login details are required. We had nothing but shit with mysql the other day, you blamed my connectivity via vodacom, but I have no trouble elsewhere

    Hey dude i feel your pain big time , have had just as much if not more issues with them. They do generally sort it out but its the stuff that they should not need to sort out.Unfortunateley i dont know of any other local hosting providers and ended up going with Texo which hosts internationally. Some times local isnt just worth the pain that comes with it.

    2 of the 3 hosts I use at the moment, I am very happy with .. Rather not talk about the 3rd .. they just crap.

    I have a reseller account on Polurnet (www.polurnet.com) and I have not had any issues really with them. They a typical cPanel host and when I had minor issues they solved it via their support quickly.

    Then the other I have is a Dreamhost account with which I am very happy. They have their own panel setup and multiple domains is no issue. If you interested in using Dreamhost .. use this URL - http://www.dreamhost.com/r.cgi?481953

    I’m with web africa too and so far its been a nightmare. I cannot open my pages because, I’m told, the domain is pointing to US but I ordered a local hosting package - I’m moving elsewhere.

    I’ve uploaded everything on to the right folder but still I get nothing. What a waste of time.

    Move china,while you able to. Abandon ship now if you are still with them. Take a look at the Webafrica forum and hellopeter.com and google them – the writing is on the wall! I have only been with them for 3 months (of utter hell). Luckily I saw the way things are and moved pronto. I am still getting billed though, but that is now their problem.
