Having thought about this for a while I suddnly start to see his Honourable excellency in magick clothing Stofiles point. The springbok is racist. We have to move out to the plains of the karoo to see why we must say this.
Springbok hang around in herds. They may allow the occasional Giraffe or Zebra to join them for a meal, but folks this is just a white wash. The Springbok is hiding their nature by appearing to be inclusive.
Let any predator come near them and their true colours surface immediately. Upon viewing said predators, they will immediately stare at the predator as if to say, WTF are you doing in my neighbourhood. Immediately thereafter they will move off so as not to have to associate with these unteranimals.
I also know that if a teenage girl springbok came home with a teenage boy buffalo, their marriage would be doomed. The springboks would ostracize her. They would not be allowed to have babies. This is patently racist behaviour.
I think this conclusively proves that the springbok is racist and needs to be removed as a symbol of unity.
The protea that I have seen growing naturally only in the Cape, Not being a botanist I don’t know much about the distribution of the flowers but can tell you that not one has moved into my neighbourhood. Is this not also racist? Don’t they want to associate with Clivias and aloes?

I think that Stofile must have nightmares about White Rinos and Black Rhinos. He propably loves Zebras, ’cause at least their stripes are living in harmony on the same animal.

I find the comments made by mainly white South Africans quite interesting. I grew up during the Apartheid years when the wealth of the country was primarily used to “to keep white skins white,overfed and protected”. The Government couldn`t care a sh-t about the other races.
Yes there was widespread corruption,viz toilets in the bush, funding for White University students through many front agencies and the sponsored killing of the “comrades”
Now you guys go on like you were saints. The murder of Steve Biko rests on the shoulders of every white person in S A.
Quite frankly all you white racists should get off your high horses and embrace S A. Look for solutions together and not as if you have all the answers.

Quite Frankly Donald, I am embracing South Africa. Should I just ignore the excesses of the government and the ruling party, Should I just ignore the people destroying the fabric of society and never make a comment?
Quite Frankly Donald, You are a fool assuming that I am a white racist. I never touched Biko, or any of the other struggle heroes. I personally believe that South Africas heroes and anti heroes should all be remembered.
We should remember Verwoerd, We should remember Basson and all the others just so that we don’t make the same mistakes again. Has Hitler been removed from the history books? We remember him so that we can prevent the foolishness from reoccurring.
We remember Chris Hani, Walter Sisulu, Enos Mobuza and many others for their willing and heroism. I too argue against stupidity, excesses and wrongs.
I am guessing you prefer me to lay down and die because I am white. Sorry I am proud of who I am, I want my heritage remembered. I want the boers to remember their folly.
Sadly too many like you want to bury reality.

I didn`t say you were a white racist but many white males and some females are quite racist and expose their racist mentality.
I do not expect you to lay down and die but I do expect that all feelings of racism and hate should “die away” and give rise to feelings of renewal and a supportive culture which should take root and flourish.
You have the depth to factor in “a thinking” that will change the way South Africans interact with and support each other. Our challenge would to ensure that this “thinking” becomes a way of life for all South africans. In this way we will be able to overcome these “excesses”.
