Helicopter fighting fire at Bushveld lodge Nelspruit
This morning we and saw a veld fire raging, The 25 knot was driving the flames along the valley, I watched the fire nearing the buildings at Bushveld Lodge and decided a closer look was a neccessity. Got the bike and the cameras and rolled on down just in time to see the start of the conflagration. Photos.
This is a subject guaranteed to get me hot under the collar, I know that most drivers in Nelspruit are courteous, in fact no the majority are total morons. I know this because I travel these roads regularly. I do the school run and see stupidity that is hard to credit.

Tourism web design is an interesting subject and the majority of tourism web sites in Mpumalanga fail the simplest of tests. We keep asking are we prepared for the 2010 football world cup, and the answer is a resounding NO. The majority of tourist web sites are not ready for 2009. I am going to tell you how I would dramatically improve any tourism web site.
It seems to me that the property sales market in Mpumalanga is in the toilet, but you don’t see it reflected in the asking prices. It makes me wonder if some estate agents are unaware of the depression in the market. As I understand it Property sales in Mpumalanga are at a real time low down 40% from a high 2 years ago.
