Helicopter fighting fire at Bushveld lodge Nelspruit
This morning we and saw a veld fire raging, The 25 knot was driving the flames along the valley, I watched the fire nearing the buildings at Bushveld Lodge and decided a closer look was a neccessity. Got the bike and the cameras and rolled on down just in time to see the start of the conflagration. Photos.
The Executive suites at the Lodge were a Total Loss, Mr van Eyck the owner shrugged and said “What can you do, A force of nature driven by a 25 knot wind, and well there you have it.”
