Today, have completed the site for Biaton Paving bricks in Nelspruit. I learned a lot about bricks while creating this site. The equipment used by the Nelspruit based paving brick manufacturer is a lot more advanced than the equipment I saw about 20 years ago.
The website for this paving manufacturer is at http://biaton.co.za. The factory is situated in Rocky’s drift between Nelspruit and White River. The paving brick plant is seperate from the brick and block manufacturing yard. They are about 3 km’s apart.
Getting to the brick yard is simple, Just take the Plaston road off of the Nelspruit to White River road (R40) and they are immediately to your left. The cement silo is a give away. The paving yard is a little more complex to reach. You need to turn off of the Barberton White River road at the lights by the garage and the chipboard plant. Turn toward the chipboard factory, Drive over the railway line and take the first road left. The paving brick manufacturing plant is at the end of the road to the left.
