This morning we  and saw a veld fire raging, The 25 knot was driving the flames along the valley, I watched the fire nearing the buildings at Bushveld Lodge and decided a closer look was a neccessity. Got the bike and the cameras and rolled on down just in time to see the start of the conflagration. Photos.

How Much does photography cost? Photography is a time intensive occupation. First you spend say 6 hours on site, then you spend 4 or 5 hours preparing a proof disk, Thereafter another 6 or 7 hours “developing” the chosen images in photoshop. and another couple of hours printing and then building the albums.

You see any business that has to resort to spam is in trouble for a number of reasons. I was reading what I think is Marc Krisjanous entry on Business Blogs and started thinking, Me made the following comment in the article: “Most never ignite any interest because quite frankly the author of the email couldn’t sell snow to an Eskimo!” Thinking about this I am assuming that Marc Krisjanous is not the brightest bulb in the fitting because selling ice to eskimos is a doomed business plan.

Making Money on the Web - Interview with a pro blogger


Today I want to talk about making money on the web. As is the custom, You should know that over 50% of our income can be directly attributed to sales made because of our Intenet marketing efforts, but I am not a pro blogger and spend much of my time doing real work. Today I interviewed a blogger who remains nameless and is very secretive. Blavish has been blogging for two years and is making some money from the web, he won’t tell me how much but he does nothing else so I assume it’s enough.
