I got hell from flash apologists and web design gurus the last time I said something about flash being bad for web sites. In fact some pointed out the irony that I use flash videos on my site. I still say flash sucks as a web design platform. Flash as a web design platform fails the SEO test and 9 others.

hehe. I love that leo burnett example, it’s horrific.
Taking a look at the source of a site like that is proof enough. With ALL that content and countless pages, all a search engine will see is “At Leo Burnett our purpose is to be the world’s best creator of ideas that truly move people… bar none. We strive to put a meaningful human purpose at the center of our clients’ brands, to transform the way people think, feel and ultimately behave. this application requires flash 9 or better, click here to get it.” any good designer or seo person knows exactly how their site looks in a text browswer. Both for accessability and that’s the crawlable content.
the other site, I got bored with too, I have a 12mb connection, so If I see a loading screen I’m gone. heh, it loaded, looks like a game. it fails GUI 101.
